IRISH MOTOR INDUSTRY CONGRATULATES SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSES
The Irish motor industry recently gathered for the second Irish Motor Industry Awards to celebrate the trade’s successes of the last year.
Backed by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), the official voice of the motor industry in Ireland, in association with Castrol Professional, the specialist lubricants and business improvement solutions provider, the awards ceremony honoured those businesses that have demonstrated excellence and best practice in the face of extremely challenging economic conditions.
Over 500 of the motor industry’s senior figures attended the awards ceremony, held at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin on February 23. The trophies were presented to the award winners by legendary Irish football star, Ronnie Whelan, and sports commentator, Des Cahill.

These awards recognise the best-performing automotive companies from across Ireland, and these businesses can be proud of what they have achieved over the last 12 months.”
Dave Watson, Head of Castrol Professional in Ireland, commented: “Castrol Professional works with a large number of businesses across the Irish automotive trade, and our customer support team has seen how hard companies have worked to adapt, survive and flourish. The positive determination exhibited across the industry has been truly inspirational so it was a great privilege to be a part of the celebrations.
